The first navigable information network for a conference proceeding, HyTime International Conference 1996, in Seattle, was produced by Michel Biezunski as a proof of concepts for information networks. The SGML Europe 1997 Conference proceedings were published using an improved version of the technology. Along the years, these Cd-Roms served enhancing the technology and also were intended to promote the idea of information networks in the SGML/XML community. The information networks produced until the XML Europe 2000 Conference have been merged together and are now available as a merged information network on the Web.
We have produced the information network that will be delivered to the participants of the XML 2000 Conference, to be held in Washington, in December 2000.
These information networks can now be produced very quickly and efficiently (the time it costs us to produce them is really dependent of the quality and reliability of the information sources.
GCA Conferences on SGML/XML/HyTime since 1996.This online version of the Quid Encyclopedia (2000 Edition) was navigable internally as a information network. It had been produced using the TM LoomTM technology. The information network resulted from retrofitting the printed index.
