Hi Topic Mappers!

Another topic map engine seems to be born.

Current name is AToM (AionTopicMaps). But it will be changed to some less confusing name.

Written under sql2008/linq, currently in very pre-pre-alpha stage.

But some bravery is needed to count it in topic map engines :)

AToM has got 
- basic XTM 1/2 import possibilities 
- basic editing options 
- special imports from special structures coded on demand

I hear your question: Why another topic map engine?

There are several answers:
1. we need extreme performance not provided by another topic map engine known to us
2. we need complete control of the code due special implementations in special projects
3. it is almost sure that we'll need some features provided by legacy topic maps only with some obstacles and compromises
4. for fun ... which I hope will ensure perpetual compatibility and interoperability with topic maps standards :)
