[topicmapmail] Are Topic Maps dead?

I won't spend too much time on this thread. But just wanted to add to this list that:
Here at CreditSights we intend to release an upgrade to our financial research website using a topic maps based approach in the next couple of months.
I guess we will announce it to the world properly when its done, but for now it indicates that Topic Maps is alive and kicking in our corner of the world. The topic maps are C#/.NET and courtesy of NetworkedPlanet. We are already very happy with the power of the new (faceted) search function and the more relevant links surrounding our content and are looking forward to all the exciting things that a decent 'semantic web' style meta-data layer will allow us to do on the site later on.
Hope this gives an indication that TopicMaps are at least alive and kicking on real world, commercial projects in our little corner (or rather street) of the world.
