Dear Topic Mappers,
you might have already recognized that besides the Topic Maps User
Conference 2008 next week in Oslo there will be TMRA 2008 as usual
Topic Mapping autumn event in Leipzig, Germany [1].
To increase the transparency, efficiency and overall quality of the TMRA
reviewing, we have changed the staffing of the Program Committee. We
have established an open application process for the TMRA Program
Committee and everybody with experiences in Topic Maps is cordially
invited to apply for the Committee.
If you have sound experiences in Topic Maps technologies and if you are
interested in supporting the community, we invite you to apply for the
committee by submitting the electronic form at [2] (or simply use the
link provided at the TMRA website [1]). Each reviewer will have a
workload of 2-3 reviews for papers or presentations, according to its
interests, experiences and background. The whole review process is
supported by a conference management system, no face by face meetings
are required. All communication regarding the review process is done
electronically. Being reviewer for TMRA 2008 equates spending one or two
of your hours in the progress of Topic Mapping and the success of the
conference.
We are looking forward to your application,
Lutz Maicher
P.S. If you are interested in TMRA 2008 leaflets, please order them at
the conference website.
