These may not be topic maps in the strict sense, but you may look at:

http://www.clicaps.ethz.ch/fmi/xsl/startree_en.xsl   (Access to 
systematic classification of CLICAPS catalog by way of a StarTree)

http://www.ppsi.ethz.ch/en/   (Physical Properties Sources Index)

For the latter database, it is planned that we provide sooner or later a 
topic map in XTM, as soon as the framework of physical properties, the 
chemical systems, their definitions, and the associated sources has been 
settled. Everything run there is already XML-based.
