hi,
there used to be a time when i understood XTM 1.o quite well but i have to
admit i forgot quite a lot of the details. as i now have (the honour) to
deal with topic maps again i thought it would be a good idea to start using
XTM 2.o which seems quite finished. but the document is very different from
the 1.o version and difficult to comprehend. is there an introduction
available somewhere which outlines the structure of a typical XTM 2.o
document, or gives an informal overview over the changes from 1.o to 2.o?
from lurking on this list i remember vaguely that e.g. the handling of
variant names and stuff like that has changed. i don't expect an
all-embracing introduction to the new version - any reference to an earlier
mail on this list, some fallout of all these conferences or any blog entry
would be very helpfull.
thanks!
thomas
