[topicmapmail] crib notes on XTM 2.0 changes?

Hello all,
 
For those of us who weren't paying attention in class has anyone written something that summarizes the changes made between XTM 1 and 2? 
 
There is the "Differences with XTM 1.0" - http://www.isotopicmaps.org/sam/sam-xtm/#xtm1.0-differences section which is helpful, but I was kind of hoping that there would be something that could give me a bit more color, without me having to wade through the full detailed discussion for each change.
 
Basically this is just me being lazy, so if no such document exists , that is, of course, fine.

PS Perhaps what I am really asking for is the reasonings behind the TMDM model, or maybe SAM model or something else, but hopefully, you being human beings 'n all you can understand what I'm asking without any further specificosity. Thanks.
