| within the last weeks the first version of a German Topic Maps
| Terminology - Deutsche Topic Maps-Terminologie - was developed. The
| terminology has reached a sufficient stability, but is still under
| development.

It's not 100% in sync with the latest TMDM, unfortunately. If I were
you I would wait another 2 weeks for the TMDM FDIS to come out, since
after that there will be no more changes to the glossary.

For the record: it's not that definitions have changed very much, but
that TMDM is now much more consistent about what appears in the
glossary and what does not.

| Are there similar initiatives in other languages out there?

There was one in Norwegian done years ago, but it was never formally
published. It has caused Norwegians to use a pretty consistent
Norwegian terminology for Topic Maps, though. Maybe doing up the same
for Norwegian would be worthwhile (but only after the FDIS, I think :).
