| i found the paper and presentation very inspiring!

Thank you. :-)

| how have they been received in montreal?

My experience is that most presentations are received the same way:
the audience applauds, then there are a few questions, and then
everybody goes off in different directions. Sometimes people come up
to say they thought it was good. Over the next years a few emails
trickle in, and that's about it.

The difference with this presentation is so far that more people have
said they liked it, and that there's been slightly more feedback than
usual. Nothing too much, though.

| is everybody working on implementations?

As far as I know I'm the only one, and I'm only doing it on the
prototype stage to try it out. I think some of the tuple-stores could
have done this if they wanted. I could probably have emphasized more
what's possible to do with a triple-store that meets a couple of
criteria, but didn't really think of it before it was too late.

| has there been discussions about q and the use of context in the
| rdf-world?

Not really. There was a thread on the semantic-web mailing list,
but...
