The subject-centric assertion model that Sam Hunting, Jan Algermissen,
Patrick Durusau and I developed, and that used to be known as the
Topic Maps Reference Model, is now implemented as a Subject Map
Pattern module in Versavant, my open-source subject map
merging/inspection/auditing/interchange engine.

A diagram of the "BigAssert" pattern, used for a 2-role association,
can be found at:

FYI, the latest version of Versavant and several demos, including a
new BigAssert demo originally proposed by Jack Park, can be downloaded
from:

http://www.versavant.org/releases/versavant.1.25.zip

After unzipping, you should probably begin by reading the README file.
