Third German Topic Maps Congress at June 21, 2004=20
in Darmstadt

The=20

	"XML Topic Maps" Congress

is the third Topic Maps congress organized by ZGDV (http://www.zgdv.de) =
and
sponsored by empolis (http://www.empolis.com).

Nine presenters (users, vendors, academics) will provide an =
introduction
into the Topic Maps paradigm (Steve Pepper and his famous TAO talk), =
present
how Topic Maps work in practical use (key note by Andreas Mittrowann,
Bertelsmann Foundation), explain the methodological development of =
Topic
Maps (e.g., Prof. Rudi Studer, University of Karlsruhe), and talk about =
the
Topic Maps Query Language TMQL (presented by me). The one-day congress =
will
finish with a moderated panel discussion giving the attendees the
opportunity for a lively Q&A session.

The congress languages are English and German.
