I'm not familiar with this area, but there are two related pieces of
work you may want to look at:

(The ideas you describe sound very interesting, but I'm afraid I don't
have time to reply much to them. :-( )

As long as there is no TMQL it will be very difficult to work on this
problem. You could start analyzing tolog for this, since TMQL looks
like it will mostly be a superset of tolog, but I doubt anyone has.
