This issue exists for all subject indicators, not just ones for being
used this particular way. How do you find their topics if you are given
the subject indicator?
If I found myself in that position often enough, I would create an index
of topics by subject indicator value. That is how it would be done in a
relational database, too - create an index if you do something often
enough and you need more speed in a query.
