Hi Steve, hi Robert,
once again, thanks for your helpfull answers.
First, letīs explain in short what Iīm trying to do using topic maps in my
thesis. The goal is to provide a framework/interface to access topic maps
that are distributed in a network in a transparent manner. In other words:
applications should be able to access topic maps in a network as it is one
big one. This could be called "topic grid".
TMRAP looks quite interesting to me and my work. My basic idea was that each
node in the "topic grid" has to provide an interface/service which can be
used by applications to query information about hosted topic maps. TMRAP
looks very similar to what I need. I will take a deeper look into it and Iīd
be happy if I can help to improve TMRAP. What about support in TMRAP in tm4j
or any other opensource tm-framework?
Steve gave me a hint to have a look at "Seamless Knowledge". Unfortunately,
I couldnīt find much information about it. Could you point me to some places
I can get some basic info about it?
Regards,
Stefan
