I'm sure you know about the online demo of the Omnigator, which
includes a number of topic maps:

  http://www.ontopia.net/omnigator/

These are "formatted" through being rendered by the Omnigator.
(By the way, you can change the formatting a little using the
"Customize" plug-in if you get tired of the default style sheet.)

The Omnigator is a generic tool, so every topic maps looks the
same. For an example of a presentation tied to a *specific
ontology*, try the version of the "Italian Opera" topic map in
the OperaMap demo at:

  http://www.ontopia.net/operamap/

We also have a similar custom application for Lars Marius' much
underrated "Scripts and Languages" topic map at

  http://www.ontopia.net/i18n/

In Norway there is now a whole slew of portals that are completely
topic map driven, including the following:

  http://forskning.no (Norwegian Research Council)
  http://forbrukerportalen.no/ (Norwegian Consumer Association)
http://matportalen.no/ (Dept. of Agriculture food portal)
http://itu.no (Dept. of Education portal about IT in education)
  http://www.hoyre.no (Norwegian Conservative Party)

...and some even more interesting applications are on their way.

Even if you don't understand Norwegian, you might be able to
see how the navigational paths offered at these sites are very
topic-mappish.
