[topicmapmail] SAM question

I've noted a topic may "represent" a subject via:
* SubjectIdentifiers (SAM)
* SubjectAddresses, and now subject locators (SAM)
* SourceLocators (SAM)
On the other hand, we have in the section 3.4.1 : "Subjects may be
identified in one or more of the following ways" :
* subject identifier
* subject address
* subject indicator
That makes me confused, and not sure to see the "cross reference" =
between
How to identify a suject, and How to refer to it.

|=20
| Actually, we've changed the terminology since XTM 1.0. Topics
| *represent* subjects, they don't necessarily reify them. Section =
3.4.4
| of the SAM draft explains this.
|=20
| | This suject is refered by :
| | * SubjectIdentifiers (SAM) : correspond to=20
| subjectIndicatorRef in XTM ?
|=20
| They do. It's a bit subtle, but the OASIS PubSubj TC found that more
| terminology was needed here, so the "subject identifier" term was
| added. Section 3.4.1 explains this.
|=20
| | * SubjectAddresses / subject locators (SAM) : correspond to
| | resourceRef in XTM ?
|=20
| Yes. It's now "subject locator", and no longer "subject address".
|=20
| | * SourceLocators (SAM) : correspond to topicRef in XTM ?=20
|=20
| Yes, they do. Note that the -id- of the <topic> element will also be
| turned into a source locator.
|=20
| | (used for instance=20
|=20
| You seem to have left something unfinished here.
| =20
| | In this cas, what about SubjectIndicator (SAM) ? Need example !
|=20
| I'm not sure what you mean by this. Could you expand the question?
