[topicmapmail] Could <basename> and it's subelement in XTM be duplicate to used?

To whom it may concern:

IF "NKFUST" and "National Kaohsiung First University of Science and 
Technology" and "NKFU" have the same meaning and mean the same thing. May I 
use these syntax in XTM like below?

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<topicMap xml:base="http://www.techquila.com/tmtab/default.xtm"
    xmlns="http://www.topicmaps.org/xtm/1.0/" 
xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">
    <topic id="NKFUST">
        <baseName>
            <baseNameString>NKFUST</baseNameString>
        </baseName>
        <baseName>
            <baseNameString>NKFU</baseNameString>
        </baseName>
        <baseName>
            <baseNameString>National Kaohsiung First University of
                Science and Technology</baseNameString>
        </baseName>
    </topic>
</topicMap>

Is the code above valid in XTM specification?
