Perhaps I'm not understanding the question exactly, as in XTM syntax
there's no fixed arity on <association> elements -- you just stuff
as many <member> child elements in there as you like. Are you talking
about *constraints* on Associations perhaps? There is currently no
way of expressing the arity of an association, but then again there
is no constraint language whatsoever (except the constraints expressed
by ISO 13250 and XTM themselves on syntax and topic map content).
