If you're looking for an "engine" there's Kal Ahmed's TM4J which
is written in Java and works on any platform. It's not the same
thing as something like Omnigator though -- it's an engine, though
it does have some visualization features as part of an associated
package, but I've not tried that out yet. But it is free, under
an open source license, and you can incorporate it into your own
software without too much difficulty (Kal writes good APIs).
