[topicmapmail] Should resourceData have a MIME type?

I just revisited the Semantica application [1] - this is Kathleen Fisher's
baby. You can download a beta verson of the "reader". They do not call it
that, but it is basically built on a topic map model - a subset, really.
It has some really fine UI features. There is (or will be) a server and, I
guess, an authoring tool. They also have some maps you can download. I
could not find any prices, suggesting that it might be expensive, but so far
the reader is free.
Its output is an archive file, as they call it, and you can unzip it with
zip tools. It turns out they use an xml format, and it ought to be possible
to convert to or from XTM using xslt. It seems to me that their model is
isomorphic to topic maps.
The reason why I mention it in this thread is that they have the equivalent
of occurrences, reified by the equivalent of their own topics, and these
resources are assigned MIME types for both "inline" (like resourceData) and
resourceRef data. So they have combined the occurrence reification that was
suggested with the MIME type assignment which I proposed.
Do check Semantica out if you have not already tried it
