A new (and hopefully final) draft of the TMAPI core package has been post=
ed to=20
http://www.tmapi.org/

TMAPI is a proposed common, Java API to topic map processing systems. The=
 core=20
package provides a common interface for:
=09Creating, manipulating and destroying the basic topic map constructs.
=09Connecting to and accessing an underlying topic map processing system =
using a=20
system-independent factory object (similar to JAXP for XML parsers).
=09Basic locator manipulation.
