You can get a free eval download of our commercial
topic map engine 'empolis k42' at

	http://k42.empolis.co.uk/

You will find a developer environment (k42 application service)
of k42 with full Java API, its documentation, and sample code.
You will also find a web interface built on top of k42 (k42 web
applications) coming with a topic map editor (k42 Web Author)
and a topic map navigator (k42 Topic Map View) - both running
in a web environment. The latter package also contains a
step-by-step introduction how to use the interfaces and how to
build your first topic map.

NB: The eval is full functional and without (!) time restriction;
just the size of the topic map is restricted to ~5000 objects.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Regards,
--Holger
