What is interesting is if you can do a transform on one set to find its
actual or potential overlap with the other map. I can't remember enough to
the rules for describing transforms to determine if this would be
meaningful. I leave the "model" to the mathematicians. Visualizations do not
appear to offer any advantages: I'm looking for the underlying maths.
