The GCA would like to thank:
  • Arbortext for providing their XML-based content management software to create and produce this year's conference proceedings in print and CD-ROM. Arbortext also supplied the conference authors with a copy of Arbortext's Epic software to assist with their authoring projects. Additionally, authors had the opportunity to use Arbortext’s Extend ASP model – providing them with the capability to author their papers through browsers linked to Arbortext’s secure, password-protected server.

Members of the Arbortext team working on this project included Beth Ambaruch, Lisa Bisson, Steve Cuzner, Peg Hellyer, and Susan Landis.

  • Michel Biezunski, Infoloom, for creating the topic mapped version of the conference proceedings on the Cd-Rom. Michel Biezunski has used his topic map creation product, "Topic Map Loom", to process the XML files provided by the authors.

  • Marta Lobato, Benjamin Jung, and John McKeown, Trinity College Dublin, for creating HTML and PDF versions (GCA Website and Proceedings CD) of the conference proceedings and schedules. The group also developed the AvantGo channel, which contains the latest information about the conference as well as conference schedules and paper abstracts.

  • The speakers for their efforts and cooperation in preparing their papers.

Note: Authors have submitted graphics in a wide variety of formats and resolutions and hence the graphics reproduction is not of a consistent standard.
