Lauren Wood is Technical Product Manager at SoftQuad, Inc. She is involved in product design and implementation of SoftQuad's Internet and Intranet products, concentrating on localization and accessibility issues.

Lauren is a member of several W3C Working Groups (HTML, CSS and Mathematics) and chairs the W3C Document Object Model Working Group.

Lauren was previously an SGML Consultant and project leader at STEP Stürtz Electronic Publishing GmbH. She holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
