Marcy Thompson is the Manager of Educational Services for CRI Inc. in Bellevue, Washington USA, a division of CRI A/S, located in Copenhagen. She oversees all educational activities for CRI Inc., and plays an active role in product and technology training for all divisions. Her focus this year has been on supporting large SGML-based document management projects for aircraft maintenance documentation in the USA and Canada.

Prior to joining CRI Inc. in 1996, Ms. Thompson held positions with Passage Systems and SoftQuad Inc., where she was heavily involved in designing and implementing SGML-based information handling systems for organizations in the semiconductor, computer hardware and software, education, aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing areas.

She has developed three complete SGML education curricula and has taught basic and advanced SGML techniques in a wide variety of settings. She posts too many articles to comp.text.sgml and so far has successfully avoided writing any books about SGML.
