Simon Nicholson is the Business Development Manager for Northern Europe for Chrystal Software Inc, a Xerox New Enterprise Company.

Simon has been with Chrystal Software since its inception, and was with XSoft prior to Chrystal's formation. Simon has been closely involved with the growth of the Astoria Document Component Management System, and was responsible for the first installation in 1994.

Prior to this Simon was with Rank Xerox in a number of capacities including four years in sales training and two years in business consultancy. In total Simon has in excess of twelve years experience in the document production market, including time spent in St. Helena!

Simon is responsible for business and market development of the Astoria product, and works closely both with Chrystal Software's customers and Aspen partners. Simon also represents his company on the SGML Open Group in Europe.

Away from the office he chooses to spend his time diving in the cold, cloudy waters of the seas around the coast of the Great Britain, in the hope that one day he'll find that undiscovered shipwreck.
