Henning Möller is working at the Siemens Corporate Technology in Munich, Germany on SGML related topics. Currently he is concerned with large scale transformations of SGML encoded technical documentation from one DTD to another and is involved in the maintenance of the SGML processes at the Siemens group Public Communication Networks (ÖN). He also participates in an initiative to define an exchange DTD for the European telecom industry.

Earlier he was involved in the ESPRIT projectTecpad that investigated the integration possibilities of SGML documentation of different companies. In the future he will focus on consulting activities concerning SGML-based information management and publishing.

Holding a diploma in physics (Univ. of Munich, Univ. of Tübingen, 1993) he is currently finishing his PhD thesis about consistency in technical documentation, in which he proposes a change-oriented model for structured documents, allowing for a selective access to and a manipulation of any change that has been made to a document, the merging of non conflicting variants, and the computation of a meaningfuldiff , as presented at this conference.
