Jürgen Kunz is a research scientist at the Institut für Rechneranwendung in Planung und Konstruktion (RPK) of the University of Karlsruhe. His research interests focus on product modeling (namely ISO 10303 STEP) and document management. He has worked for the research projects FODATEC and DOCSTEP. Jürgen Kunz received his master degree (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe in 1991. He is member of ISO TC184/SC4/WG3/T14 "Product Documentation".
