Currently working in the policy department of Air Technical Publications ATP(RAF), he is a member of the Defence Standard 00-60 Electronic Documentation Sub Group, the Data Management Sub Group, the Data Dictionary and Related Technical Information Committee and is secretary to the Electronic Documentation Sub Committee, which is responsible for the implementation of Electronic Documentation policy in the RAF, RN, Army and Procurement Executive (PE).

Recently completed a feasibility study into the use of DSSSL, DSSSL/MID hybrid for IETP presentation to Defence Standard 00-60 requirements.

He is planning a programme of presentations and demonstrations to RAF stations to advise on the future of electronic documentation in the Services and to obtain feedback from the end users.
