Are you Ready to Build Your Own Topic Maps?

You are ready to build your own topic maps if:

• you have a good idea of your information model, you have started to build your knowledge base and you have made up your mind and you want to develop topic map navigation.
• you have already done a topic map prototype. Now you need to maintain, update, and/or extend the prototype for ongoing use.
• you need to integrate documents of varying formats into a knowledge base on an ongoing basis.
• you have a staff technically capable of installing, using, integrating, and extending InfoLoom, Inc. technology.

Overview of the Activity

As part of the "Build Your Own Topic Maps" program:

• You will be granted a license of use of the TMLoom™ software. Note that this is a software "lease" on an annual basis.Pricing is subject to change after the first year. The lease includes all software updates.
• We will either train the person(s) in charge of the application, or provide a trained person on your site, for the time needed to set up the application and the update strategy. Cost depends on number of man-days.
• Maintenance: hot line support (included in the license).
• Specific application or customization if needed (charge depends on number of man-days at a consulting rate of USD $2,000.00 per day).

Duration:

This service offering will vary depending upon number of people trained, customization required, etc.

The lease of TMLoom™ is on an annual basis

Price

The price will vary with the number of users per site. The price will include an annual lease as well as monthly support fees. An unlimited site license will also be available.
